Dayton, OH – With plans underway to construct sanitary sewers to serve the Village of Wayne Lakes, the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) is working to amend the regional Water Quality Management Plan to accurately reflect local decisions and plans. One key step is to map the Facility Planning Area for Wayne Lakes, the area for which the Village will have lead planning responsibility for wastewater collection and treatment.

A Public Input meeting will be held to allow the public an opportunity to 1) learn the purpose and functions of Facility Planning Areas, 2) review and comment on the proposed Facility Planning Area map for the Village of Wayne Lakes, and 3) suggest a Facility Planning Area map of their own. Informative posters and maps, as well as MVRPC staff members will be on hand to assist participants in navigating the information and submitting any comments.

The meeting will be held as follows:

At all MVRPC public participation meetings, interpreters for hearing impaired individuals or bi-lingual interpreters are available upon request.  Requests should be made at least one week prior to the meeting date.
