MVRPC Launches Redesigned and Reorganized Website

Dayton, OH – The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) is excited to announce the launch of our redesigned and reorganized website featuring our new logo and colors. The updated site, at www.mvrpc.org, not only has a new look, it is also organized by main topics, such as Transportation, Regional Planning, Environment, Data & Mapping, Our Vision, and Our Members, all of which MVRPC’s Board members, their staff, the media, and the general public will find useful.

“The new site incorporates many regional photos on the home page and throughout the site to highlight what the Miami Valley has to offer,” explained MVRPC’s Executive Director, Brian O. Martin, AICP.  “In addition to being visually appealing, the site offers a wealth of information useful to residents, visitors, and prospective residents of the Region.”

New features include:

  • A “Message from the Executive Director” which incorporates changing videos highlighting upcoming events, on-going initiatives or important meetings;
  • A place to register to receive “Executive Director’s Update” via email on a monthly basis;
  • A “Committee Center” link/icon on the top navigation bar on all pages to make accessing meeting agendas, minutes and materials easier for members and attendees;
  • “News and Upcoming Events” prominently featured on the home page and on the top navigation bar on all pages;
  • A monthly calendar outlining MVRPC committee meetings and public involvement meetings;
  • A “Featured Programs” section  on the home page which provides quick access to our most popular topics; and
  • Mobile-responsiveness so the site rearranges automatically to look good and be legible on desktops, tablets, and mobile phone browsers.

“I encourage you to explore the website at www.mvrpc.org and learn more about what MVRPC does and what we have to offer those who want to learn more about the agency and Region,” stated Martin. “You will be impressed by all the information that’s available and accessible at your fingertips.”
