Seven-County Trail User Survey Being Conducted this Fall.
Every four years, partnering agencies of the Nation’s Largest Paved Trail Network survey trail users. They are asked questions like: How did you hear about the trails? What is your primary activity on the trails, and did you make a purchase during your outing on the trail? The results provide information to help the Region plan future programming and maintenance projects. The survey area is Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Warren Counties. To take the survey, go to mvrpc.org/trail-user-survey-2017. Keep an eye out for the survey results early next year.

Highlighting the Greater Miami Valley Region and Member Jurisdictions
Since 1964, MVRPC has served as the common ground where area partners come together to work toward a shared vision. Our member jurisdictions are vital to the Region’s success and MVRPC is proud to highlight them in a series of three television commercials currently airing on network and cable stations. The ads showcase clips from local jurisdictions’ attractions, festivals, and landmarks, each emphasizing our diversity, and at the same time, stressing how we are united by our similarities. These ads run as public service announcements to help educate residents about who we are and what we do. They can be viewed at mvrpc.org/about-mvrpc.
MVRPC Celebrates Rideshare Week Oct. 2-6
The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission is marking National Rideshare Week, October 2 - 6, 2017, with daily posts on social media highlighting the benefits of ridesharing. Commuters are encouraged to follow MVRPC and comment about your ridesharing experiences on MVRPC’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
MVRPC sponsors the local RIDESHARE Program which is available to anyone who lives, works, or attends college in Clinton, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery or Preble Counties. Commuters may register at MiamiValleyRideshare.org to receive a match list of people who have similar schedules and destinations, then contact them to set up a carpool, vanpool, or bikepool. The RIDESHARE Program is a partner of Gohio Commute, a statewide initiative, promoting commuting alternatives to driving alone.
