Silver Tsunami Support Aging Drivers - Rescheduled

The Silver Tsunami - Supporting Ohio's Aging Drivers featuring guest speaker Ms. Elin Schold Davis

People age 65+ are the fastest-growing segment of drivers. In Ohio, the number of older drivers and older driver-involved crashes are on the rise.  Join ODOT for a discussion on how aging affects our ability to drive and how to assess it.  Learn what we can do as caregivers, organizations, family members, and aging drivers to address this growing concern.

Time:  10:30 am – 12:00 noon

Where: Dayton Metro Library – Main Branch (Corner of E. Third Street and St. Clair Street), Eichelberger Forum

Join the Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) Safety Network for a presentation by Ms. Elin Schold Davis of the American Occupational Therapy Association and a certified driving rehabilitation therapist.

The Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) Safety Network meetings are an opportunity to build relationships between the various disciplines involved in traffic safety and health care; foster professional development by featuring nationally recognized speakers on topics related to traffic safety; and recognize outstanding work by safety professionals across Ohio.
