MVRPC to Host NEVI Outreach Meeting on July 14

Drive Ohio is developing the required statewide plan to access Ohio's $142 million share of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) formula program. As a part of the planning process, Drive Ohio is holding a series of six outreach meetings across the state. MVRPC will host one session on Thursday, July 14, 2022 starting at 2:30 PM at Dayton Realtors (1515 S. Main Street, Dayton, OH 45409).

NEVI is part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. It represents a $5 billion investment over five years to build the nation's high speed electric vehicle charging network as a part of the transition to cleaner, electric transportation. At this meeting you will hear from Drive Ohio about the planning process and the statewide and regional approach for future DC Fast Charging infrastructure development. Local governments, potential site hosts, electric utilities, equipment suppliers, and EV advocates are all encouraged to attend to learn about and comment upon the plan content.
