Virtual Meeting to Review the Proposed Regional Water Quality Management Plan Amendment updating boundaries for the Tri-Cities and Dayton Facilities Planning Areas.

Dayton, OH – The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) maintains the Areawide Water Quality Management Plan which guides planning across five counties for wastewater collection and treatment. The plan delineates Facility Planning Areas (FPA), which are locations where sanitary sewers are or may be provided. The Tri-Cities Wastewater Authority has proposed, and the City of Dayton has agreed to, a minor amendment to the FPA boundaries between the Tri-Cities FPA and the Dayton FPA in the area surrounding the Dayton International Airport.

On April 12, 2022, a virtual Public Participation Meeting will be held to allow the public an opportunity to 1) learn the purpose and functions of Facility Planning Areas, and 2) review and comment on the proposed Facility Planning Area updates. There will be a brief presentation regarding the update to the boundaries proposed. Following that, MVRPC staff will accept comments and answer questions.

The meeting will be held as follows: Tuesday, April 12, 2022 – 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
