The Miami Valley Age-Friendly Network (MVAFN), an initiative of MVRPC's Institute for Livable and Equitable Communities, is a coalition of MVRPC member communities, partners and stakeholders who will work together to establish and implement age-friendly community strategies for the Region. We encourage MVRPC member communities to have elected officials, administrators, department directors and/or senior center staff represent their community on the MVAFN.
Thank you to all those who participated in our Miami Valley Age-Friendly Network quarterly meeting on July 13th.
A video recording of the meeting is now available.
We had great turnout with a packed agenda focused on the domain of housing. The presentation covered the following topics:
- Age-Friendly Healthcare
- Regional Hospitals' Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and Pathways Community HUB
- MVRPC's PLAN4Health - Health Environment Assessment
