The EJ Academy is a training program developed for emerging community, non-profit, and environmental leaders to help cultivate skills to identify and address environmental challenges in their communities.
The Academy will be held at, and with the support of, the University of Dayton starting September 10 and 11. The EJ Academy consists of a nine-month program of courses, assignments, and projects.
This is the inaugural academy co-sponsored by EPA in Ohio. MVRPC is a co-sponsor because the EJ Academy complements the goals of the Regional Equity Initiative.
The deadline for applications is July 7, 2021. People can sign up for one of two conference calls: Thursday, June 17, from 7-8:00 p.m. ET or Wednesday, June 23, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. ET.
The application includes five questions. Each response is limited to 200 words.
