The Miami Valley Region has had many accomplishments to celebrate this past year. 2016 was a record year of funding spent and funding sought for transportation projects in the Region including the #1 scoring projects for TRAC in Ohio, GRE US 35.  We also saw the completion of the I-75 Modernization Project that opened ahead of schedule and under budget.  Dayton was chosen to hold the International Trails Symposium to be held in 2017.  MVRPC along with several regional partners have been working hard this year to support and plan this event with American Trails.  MVRPC received 6 breakthrough awards including NARC Medium Metro Award, Ohio GIS Awards, and Environmental Community of the Year Award.  Congratulations to everyone in the Region on a successful 2016.  We are looking forward to continuing to Shape our Region’s Future Together in 2017!
