The next meeting of the MVRPC Water & Environment Subcommittee (WESC) will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). This will be a virtual meeting; a Zoom link will be provided.
The agenda for the meeting includes both Water Quality and Climate Planning topics:
- Wastewater Facility Planning – 60 minutes
- FPA Update Request from Tri-Cities Wastewater Authority
- Darke County Outreach is underway
- Climate Pollution Reduction Planning Grant (CPRG) – 30 minutes
- Regional Low-Carbon Pathways – Community First and Energy Transition
- Local Pathways Update

MVRPC established the Water and Environment Subcommittee (WESC) to serve as that more comprehensive forum for the discussion of any environmental issues that come before the Regional Planning Commission. The WESC will continue the work of Wastewater Treatment Facility Planning, and will also address matters regarding Climate Pollution Reduction Planning. Other environmental issues will be addressed at WESC meetings as the needs arise.
