The January 2025 meeting of the Water & Environment Subcommittee addressed community climate action and resilience planning. We were joined by Sustainability Solutions Group (SSG) and learned more about the assumptions being used to model low-carbon pathways, and received an update on the seven communities that are working on local low-carbon pathways within the CPRG project. Elizabeth Baxter, MVRPC’s Resilience Planning Program Manager shared the innovative Community Resilience Planning Toolkit. Following that we heard from Noah J. Fillian, Chief, Energy Management, 88 CEG/CENPE about Energy Efficiency and Resilience Planning happening at Wright-Patterson AFB.
