The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) invites you to attend the Food System and Healthy Eating Workshop on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 2:00 – 3:30 pm at the Montgomery County Business Solutions Center (1435 Cincinnati St. #300, Dayton, OH 45417).

This interactive workshop is part of the PLAN4Health – Miami Valley Healthy Communities Roundtable Workshop Series and will focus on the topic of the Food System and Healthy Eating. This workshop will convene partners from a range of disciplines including food systems, public health, and planning. Participants will learn about our regional food system, how it influences healthy eating, and the impact our professions can have on shaping a better food environment. Further, participants will gain insights from Montgomery County’s Food Equity Coalition and work to identify strategies to boost health outcomes through improvements to our regional food system.

This workshop is an opportunity for a range of interested parties to collaborate and work towards the goal of healthy people and communities. We hope you will attend this workshop to share your insights, expertise, and ideas.
