MVRPC to Host NEVI Outreach Meeting on JUNE 9

Ohio is updating its electric vehicle charging deployment plan under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. MVRPC will be hosting DriveOhio to hear about their progress on candidate charging locations and other plan updates. This will be an opportunity to offer feedback on candidate charging locations and other plan updates. Drive Electric Dayton will also be on hand offering an Electric Vehicle Showcase.

NEVI is part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. It represents a $5 billion investment over five years to build the nation's high-speed electric vehicle charging network as a part of the transition to cleaner, electric transportation. At this meeting, you will hear from Drive Ohio about the planning process and the statewide and regional approach for future DC Fast Charging infrastructure development. Local governments, potential site hosts, electric utilities, equipment suppliers, and EV advocates are all encouraged to attend to learn about and comment upon the plan content.
