Monthly Updates from MVRPC's Executive Director Available via E-mail

MVRPC’s redesigned website provides the public an opportunity to sign up to receive monthly, emailed updates from MVRPC’s Executive Director, Brian O. Martin, AICP. “MVRPC is directly involved in many initiatives, projects, and programs that have a direct effect on Miami Valley residents. We want them to be aware, educated and involved,” said Martin.

On a monthly basis, the Executive Director’s Update covers relevant topics including transportation, environmental, and regional planning issues. Also included is a list of upcoming public participation meetings and a video message from Martin.

Register for MVRPC’s Executive Director’s Update by going to www.mvrpc.org and clicking on the green bar, near the bottom of the homepage, where it states “STAY CONNECTED.”

Established in 1964, the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission promotes collaboration among communities, stakeholders, and residents to advance regional priorities.  MVRPC is a forum and resource where the Board of Directors identifies priorities, develops public policy and collaborative strategies to improve quality of life throughout the Miami Valley Region.  MVRPC performs various regional planning activities, including air quality, water quality, transportation, land use, research and GIS.  As the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), MVRPC is responsible for transportation planning in Greene, Miami and Montgomery Counties and parts of northern Warren County. MVRPC's areawide water quality planning designation encompasses five (5) counties: Darke, Preble plus the three MPO counties.
