b'MVRPC 2022 ANNUAL REPORTLETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORFirst and foremost, I would like to extend our gratitude to our members for their continued trust and confidence in our work. As a result of this trust, the MVRPC Board of Directors unanimously voted to increase member dues for the first time since 1989. This increased investment will enable the agency to strengthen services and leverage more funding opportunities for our Region.In March, the MVRPC Board of Directors approved $32.4 million in federal transportation funds for 51 roadway, bikeway/pedestrian, transit, and planning projects. All of the projects are located throughout MVRPCs Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) area, which includes Greene, Miami, Montgomery, and northern Warren Counties. In this report, we highlight four recently completed projects in Fairborn, Franklin, Kettering, Moraine, and TroyMPO communities.We were thrilled to welcome Shelby County, the Cities of Sidney and Eaton as Board and Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO) members. Their inclusion in regional planning strengthens our collaborative efforts, adds to our impressive list of small town members outside of the urban area, and expands our opportunities to work on regional challenges and opportunities.Brian O.
