b'STRENGTHENING THE MIAMI VALLEY REGIONThe MVRPC Board of Directors Approved over $32.4 Millionfor 51 STP, CRRSAA, and TA ProjectsOn March 3, 2022, the MVRPC Board of Directors approved over $32.4 million in federal transportation funds for 51 roadway, bikeway/pedestrian, transit, and planning projects that will benefit the Miami Valley Region.MVRPCs regionally-controlled Surface Transportation Program (STP) and Transportation Alternatives (TA) funds as well as the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) funds will finance more than $52.1 million in transportation projects when matched with local dollars. All of the projects are located throughout MVRPCs Metropolitan Planning Organization area, which includes Greene, Miami, Montgomery, and northern Warren Counties.
